Unlike the usual commercial spirulina tablets with up to 30% binding agents, these tablets are held together by the natural protein adhesiveness of the algae itself. Each tablet has structural integrity, with a friability rate of less than 1%, using high-pressure cold compression and no processing aids.

Q1: Are there any binders or fillers in prodducts?

A: Nope. These pills are made by compressing 100% Arthrospira platensis biomass. The pill is bound together by the natural protein matrix, with no magnesium stearate, silica or any other ingredient.

Q2: How long after swallowing do the pills dissolve?

A: They dissolve completely in stomach fluid within 15–20 minutes, fulfilling the USP <701> disintegration criteria of less than 30 minutes. Bioavailability is like powder but with improved dosing precision.

Q3: How do you regulate for heavy metals in your spirulina source?

A: Spirulina is grown in closed loop systems separated from industrial zones. Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead and Mercury analysed in each batch using ICP-MS, verified below EU limits and California Prop 65 levels.

Q4: Vitamin B12 is included in the product?

A: Contains significant quantities of Cobalamin. However, a part is pseudo-B12 analogue. We recommend that spirulina pills should not be used as the primary dietary source for the correction of clinical B12 insufficiency.

Q5. Why some spirulina pills have fishy smell?

A: A fishy odour indicates bacterial spoilage or oxidation of fatty acids. Good quality spirulina pills should smell a little like seaweed or nuts, which means the spirulina has been freshly harvested and dried at a low temperature.
